Hobbyist DJs provide their own laptop and controller and will likely hire speakers and sometimes lighting from a third party.

Semi-Professional DJs –

Semi-Professional DJs provide a laptop and controller or standalone controller or USB, speakers, lighting, stands and a microphone.

Professional DJs (DJ Bass Sick) –

Professional DJs provide everything they need including but not limited to their mixer and media players or standalone controller or USB, premium speakers, programmed lighting, stands and at least 1 wireless microphone.
